Venturer Rescue Two set about practicing casualty handling exercises and retrieval of stretcher casualties from different vessels and structures.
During the day the organisation also hosted a scheduled visit from three Lithuanians.
Andželika, Renata, Alina Danutė Kulvinskienė and Kate Bulpit visited the station midway through the day as part of a European funded project.
The aim of the project was to learn about the forms, models and trends of social partnerships in the United Kingdom.
The group were specifically interested to learn about the opportunities in the UK for young people, hence there visit to the Venturers control room were we where able to explain the structure, training programmes and general reason for the Venturers being a different activity for youngsters as well as explaining how maritime SAR in the UK works.
The cadets today recapped on previous boat handling and some Man Overboard procedures as part of their on going training program.
