Today saw our monthly helicopter exercise with Coastguard Rescue 104 this time focusing more on stretcher lifts.
The duty winch paramedic went over in depth some of the equipment carried and how they would like the casualty prepped for lift.
We then completed the exercise.
Later in the afternoon the helicopter kindly picked us out and requested if we could assist in some practice for the CO Pilot, we duly changed course and allowed the helicopter to practice its manoeuvres before resuming our training of MOB recoveries with the cadets.
