Weekend Update

Saturday 14th August 2010

All three vessels launched on routine exercise and local familiarisation concentrating on navigation and day shapes in the local area, the day passed without incident and all assets were recovered and station down to night watch.

 

Sunday 15th August 2010

The only maritime call of the day was to the assistance of a yacht with lost steering near Cowes.

 

Fortunately the vessel rectified the problem before the lifeboat arrived and we were stood down with thanks, our ambulance responder team also attended two call outs before station close.
