Week Ending 22nd November 2009

Saturday saw Venturer Rescue One complete a routine patrol before recovering to its trailer at Calshot for its annual service and overhaul of such systems like the Hamilton Water Jet, during her time ashore she will also be fitted with AIS (Automatic Identification System) as will Venturer Rescue Two.

Sunday passed quietly with a crew completing a patrol in the land rover after a combination of high tides and rainfall left the notorious Brokenhurst railway bridge flooded.

The crew returned to station luckily with no assistance from them needed.
