Thank You to the Queens Silver Jubilee Trust

The League of Venturers Search and Rescue are extremely thankful to the Queens Silver Jubilee Trust after the recent cost of an appropriate launch vehicle was met for the Lepe based organisation.

The Venturers were struggling with the current quad bike that simply wasnt tough enough to recover the next generation of rescue RIB's on the beach.

After all the recent storms and changes to groins on the beach our launch area has turned to soft sand that the quad bike simply sank on the spot.

With the need to launch quickly but more importantly safely we decided that a small purpose built tractor was required and would easily last the unit for many years, we took the approach to purchase a rolling chasis and built the rest of the tractor on top in our own workshops thus reducing the cost.

Thanks to the grant received from the Queens Jubilee has met the costs of the new tractor.
