An Email from a former Venturer

Dear Tiffy,

 

I would like to thank you for the many great skills I have learnt from the time I had spent with the Venturers, thanks to the Adult environment that is there it has given me the confidence and courage to join and pass the first phase of training in the Royal Air Force as a fire fighter.

 

I spent many years as a member of the team dealing with all types of land and sea rescues, not forgetting the once in a lifetime chance to go to the USA.

 

I would like to wish you luck for the future and please keep up the good work, the youngsters of the Waterside area need something that is worth doing and that will keep them out of trouble and like I have found out, will give them confidence in themselves to achieve any goal that they set their mind on.
