Training and Academy
The League of Venturers Search and Rescue have established a academy for youth to enjoy a well structured training scheme that sees there training develop from the simplest of boat crew skills through to competent helmsman and coxswains. The cadets are taught by experienced, qualified instructors using the International Yacht Training schemes and the best available medical training. All Venturers spend a great deal of time training, whether it be seamanship, first aid, navigation, radio or in house rescue techniques.

Through continued hard work and some generous donations, we have been able to build an impressive and effective collection of rescue vehicles which we have listed below.

Overseas Expeditions
Almost every year the Venturers Search and Rescue teams have the opportunity through private sponsorship to travel abroad to learn about different cultures and compete in four wheel drive events.
